The Little Liar

When threatened, they will destroy anything to survive, especially me. But I am the shadow you cannot outrun, the mirror that holds your final reflection. You may duck my gaze for all your days on earth, but let me assure you, I get the last look. I am Truth.

Humans lie constantly, especially to their Maker.

Alas, the people turned away whenever Truth got close. They covered their eyes. They ran in the other direction.

But you serve the Lord or you serve man, and if you choose man, there may be no limit to the orders you will have to follow, or your cruelty.

Humans are broken. Susceptible to sin. They were created with minds to explore, but they often choose to explore their own power. They lie. And those lies let them think they are God. Truth is the only thing that stops them.
