“Is he drunk?” Tic asked. Liam shook his head. “Nope.” I tested the volume and ran my fingers through the strings once. The girl sitting in front of the speaker quickly covered her ears in pain as the room erupted with the sound. Perfect. I climbed up onto the table, and the room cheered, thrusting their drinks into the air. “That’s a good way to get the cops’ attention,” Tic shouted. My mouth curled up into a grin as I looked down at him. “They’re not the ones I’m looking to get attention from.”
