No one ever says you have to love yourself before you can have friends. So why do we hold ourselves to a different standard when we’re looking for a romantic partner?
THIS. SO MUCH. Stop telling your single friends to love themselves first it’s annoying and untrue. She even mentions later that true constant self love is impossible, but that we can try every day for self acceptance and I couldn’t agree more.
