by definition, a human being is endowed with free will. He can use this to choose between good and evil. I mean it to stand for the application of a mechanistic morality to a living organism oozing with juice and sweetness.
You were not put on this earth just to get in touch with God. That sort of thing could sap all the strength and the goodness out of a chelloveck.
