“You’re interested in me? You want me?” he asked. “Yes,” she replied without hesitation. “Then shouldn’t I be worth some time and effort?” He smiled lopsidedly, and the expression heated her blood. Rhea drew back. “You want me to woo you?”
Rhea grinned, her blue eyes bright with mirth and pride. “You heard the same words as I, Volk. The human belongs to me, and he has claimed me in turn.”
That had to be more than curiosity. She actually wanted him. And I want her. But he had to prove himself worthy, first. Had to earn her. He would earn her.
“Yes,” she hissed, dropping her hands to his shoulders. “Think we should head to our room before I start making it up to you?” “No.” She twisted, shoving him back against the wall without disconnecting their bodies. “You will do so here and now, human.” Randall laughed. “Gladly.” CHAPTER
Rhea cupped Randall’s cheek and turned his face toward her. “You are worth the fight, my hunter.” Randall pressed his forehead to hers. She would have fought to the death to protect him, and he for her, and that knowledge hit him hard. “So are you.” CHAPTER
“Join with me, Rhea. Be mine,” he said. She released a shaky breath and smiled. “Hunter, you were mine from the moment you arrived here.” She lowered her face to his. “And I was ever yours.”
“What are you doing?” she asked as his lips neared her slit. “Ensuring my mate is the best-loved female in the sea.” Rhea gasped, and all thought fled her mind except the pleasure of Randall’s tongue. Her cries ensured everyone in the Facility knew just how well loved she was.
