Great question
I don’t know for sure that it is, I’m quite certain myself that it isn’t, but I have to act like it is. For him.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's hard not to be overwhelmed.
Mood
As soon as I ever began to become close to someone—poof. It became far less painful not to get close to anyone at all. If you don’t put yourself out there, you don’t have to risk getting hurt. You don’t have to risk an inevitable goodbye.

Much to my annoyance, I have to be the adult now. It’s not a job I should have to do. Dad should be here.

It’s intense, but at no point have I ever felt unsafe around him. The complete opposite.

My heart hurts for him. He’s too young to be doing this…whatever this is. I’m terrified for him. I’m terrified for us.

As much as I hate him talking to her like that, he has a point
As Madame Blanche said, I live most of my life for others. When is it my turn?
Not being able to feel anything is mercy. Mercy I do not deserve.

Why do they keep calling her by her last name?

Okay is relative, and if anyone should be asking, it’s me.
If it came down to it, Reid would choose me over himself. But he doesn’t realize that if the roles were reversed, if it was my choice, I’d choose him. Every single time.
