HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED the amount of people who come out of the woodwork when someone dies? The people who haven’t talked to them in years but suddenly, now that they’re gone, it’s like they were the best of friends? Yeah, they piss me the fuck off. I tried not to pay attention to it as we sat through the service, choosing to focus on honoring Monty instead, but that’s over. All I can see now is the hundreds of people here that probably never knew him at all.
