To Be Honest

they say love is invisible, but when i look in the mirror i know that isn’t true.

people come and go and i don’t think my heart will ever be okay with this. why does everything have a beginning and an end

asking them not to leave doesn’t mean you are weak. it means you’ll do anything to stay alive.

everything hurts before it gets better. you have to leave some things behind. you are so much stronger than what you fear. it’s okay to be sad and not have the energy to hide it. you won’t heal if you keep touching where it hurts. don’t forget to love the parts of yourself that are still learning.

i hope your heart is a little less heavy today.

even flowers grow through the cracks of concrete and still look beautiful.

one day you will have everything you prayed for.
