putting yourself first is never a failure

people come and go and i don’t think my heart will ever be okay with this.

so don’t leave yourself behind waiting for someone to change how they feel about you when you still haven’t met all of the people who will know how to love you back.

i learned to stop saying sorry for things that were not my fault.
