Link should know this is the apocalypse, and as a result so should Ethan, Lena, Ridley, Amma, Macon, and everyone else involved. Unless Link didn't take the warning seriously.

“What do you mean by apocalypse? Like in the Bible?” Was there another kind? Link didn’t even know. Obidias’ eyes were glassy.
