One hand on my shoulder, the other on my wrist, stopping me from pushing the glass through my heart. “No hesitation,” I said, holding her gaze as I pushed the point into my skin, forcing a drip of crimson blood to well at the surface. If my life had to end here to extend hers, I’d do it. No problem.
