“Who are you?” Vin asked, stepping forward. “An enemy,” he replied, holding up a hand to ward her back. Vin hesitated. Mist swirled between them on the quiet street. “Why then did you help me fight those assassins?” “Because,” he said. “I’m also insane.”
“Books have great value,” Elend said. “Actions have greater value.”
“I thought you didn’t care how I spent my time.” “I don’t,” OreSeur said. “But I do get bored.” “And annoyed, apparently.”
