“Don’t worry about that,” Apollo told him, voice dropping to a low whisper, “there’s a great chance I’ll end up hurting you on purpose.”
Apollo was the Devil. And the Devil took no prisoners.
“I’m in command here, baby. From this moment on, I’m your everything. I’m your damn sun and you’re my little Shadow. Your whole world revolves around me, and in return, I’ll keep you warm and comfortable and safe.”
