Dark-brown wavy hair, square jaw, and the biggest dimples when he smiles.
He’s very tall, maybe six foot four. Broad shoulders and built, but there’s something about the way he’s talking to his group of friends. He’s all animated and laughing, and they’re hanging on his every word as he commands their attention.
“He’s an engineer,” I whisper. “Who gives a fuck. I would sleep with him if he was homeless.”
“I don’t fuck on first dates.” I smirk as I put my hands on my hips, acting indignant. “You do now.” The mood changes as his dark eyes sweep down over my body. Suddenly I’m nervous. Because hell, this has been the best night, and I want it to have an even happier ending and blow his mind. He puts his hand around my throat, steps forward, and puts his lips to my ear. “You are going to take my cock so fucking good,” he whispers. His breath brushes my ear and sends goose bumps up my spine. “Like the bad girl I know you want to be.”
With his hand in a viselike grip around my throat, he licks up the side of my face. “Are you creamy for me, baby?”
Charming Henley James is nice, but choke hold Henley James is next level.
Operation Hot Bitch is on. Don’t mess with me, world, because I will cut you.
“You’re more beautiful than I remembered,” he murmurs as his eyes meet mine. “And trust me, I’ve remembered that moment a lot.”
“Watch me. Get upstairs, get those clothes off, and open your legs on that bed, because you’re about to get some sense fucked into you.”
“Good at fucking you up, asshole,” I mutter under my breath. “Nobody touches her but me.”
“It’s the way I think about you all day.” He pauses for a moment. “It’s the way I watch for your car to come home all night.”
“The way I kind of like your dog, but I can’t tell you because then you will know that you have me in the palm of your hand.”
“It’s the way I can’t stand the thought of sleeping with anyone else.”
“It’s the way I was so upset that you didn’t want to see me anymore that I ran over your plants with the mower.”
“Don’t let me fuck this up,” he says softly. “Tell me if I get too close to the line.”
“Good night, my beautiful Juliet,” he whispers. “Thanks for waiting for me to get here . . .” My heart swells at his newfound vulnerability. “You were worth the wait.”
“Promise me something,” I whisper. “Anything.” He kisses me softly. “If you have a moment where you freak out . . . you just say, Juliet, I’m having a moment.”
I close my eyes, and against my better judgment, I let go of the edge. I’d follow him anywhere.
“God damn it, he’s a gorgeous piece of man meat,”
“A man’s not a camel. I need to feed the beast. I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” I chuckle at his answer. Typical Blake Grayson.
If you lean into the light, love will always find you there.
