Fuck . . . she’s beautiful. Her body is out of this world, and I just can’t get enough.
“It’s not one light bulb moment. It’s a million little things.”
It’s him. It’s always been him . . . “It’s the little things,”
“It’s the way your smile drops my stomach.”
My hands go to his hair as he pulls me apart with his thumbs, his tongue licking me deep, his teeth grazing my clitoris. Goose bumps scatter up my spine, and he throws me onto the bed, his strong hands on my inner thighs holding my legs open wide. His tongue takes no prisoners as he licks me deeply, sucking, moaning into me as if this is the best thing he’s ever done.
I see my father and mother, so happy and in love. Our family vacations and the house filled with noise and laughter. The love between them in Technicolor brightness, so over the top that it could be felt by all who knew them. I’m sorry. We couldn’t save her. And then . . . his life without her.
Like I’ve done so many times before. Only this time it’s different. I’m savoring every second, listening to his breathing, trying my hardest to soak in every minute detail.
