“They have been through much,” Anwyn agreed. “So why would you turn her away now? She isn’t a book to be studied and mused over—this isn’t history, Uncle, it is the present, and it is happening now. Wouldn’t you prefer to make your mark upon it all before it becomes the tragic past?”
The light cannot always overcome the dark, but it must rise to meet it.
This was why she kept fighting. It was not for the light on the distant horizon, or the one waiting on the other side of the storm, but the lights right here in the storm with her, laughing and dancing and living in spite of the darkness raging around them.
