Because I live alone in the woods and off the beaten path, it’s often assumed I’m some sort of eccentric recluse who drinks river water and munches on moss, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I have running water, electricity, and internet. A stove, an oven, and a refrigerator. And I enjoy a cold beer and bag of Oreos as much as the next person.
