Which spells you choose to use, and how you use them, define you in the eyes of the Aether. This definition is reflected in your magic.”

I’d been forced to do the exact opposite of that to learn curse magic, though those were memories I preferred to forget. And I had sealed away those spells in this life, so there was no reason to dwell on that corner of my past.

While all this takes time to describe, our attacks unloaded in the same handful of seconds. Even then, there was some resistance. Satellites fired on us and struck Horizon’s shields, plasma bolts crashed against the Divine Titan, and spells fell on Sola or died against Eurias.
