“I’m going to make you remember,” Colton whispers from the other side. My chest shudders because that’s the problem… I never forgot.

“I might have lost you, but that doesn’t mean you weren’t the best fucking thing to ever happen to me. It doesn’t mean you’re not still the most important part of my life.”

“I know I’ve said it before, but I could live a thousand years and never deserve you. You’ve given me more than I ever could have hoped for, and even though I’ll never be able to repay that debt, I’m sure as fuck going to spend the rest of my life showing you how grateful I am.”
