My mouth hung open again as my heart worked double time inside of my chest. It shouldn’t have been shocking, really, with the way Coal acted toward me, but this was the first time he’d said those words out loud, and after already being blindsided by Rok, Coal’s declaration was a huge shock to my heart. “You love me?” I gasped out.
