14And the apostles in Jerusalem, hearing that Samaria welcomed the word of God, sent Peter and John to them, 15who went down and prayed over them, so that they might receive a Holy Spirit; 16for as yet it had not descended upon any of them, and they had been baptized only in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then they laid hands on them, and they received a Holy Spirit.
