It's Not Me, It's You

I do not subscribe to the view that we have been placed here by some kind of higher being; I do not believe we are special enough to warrant that kind of attention. We are simply a thing, that lives in a place, and one day something will happen to that place (either because of us or in spite of us, some kind of cosmic event beyond our comprehension let alone ability to influence) and we won’t be here any more. Our gods will go with us when we leave.

By a decision made, I mean a conscious effort to take control of a situation rather than simply allowing yourself to respond in what you think is the correct way, given your track record and how you are perceived by the people around you.

I am in no doubt that if you use the term ‘luv’ in a letter or text message then you are incapable of truly understanding the emotion.

It is so much easier to grieve for the dead than to care for the living. At least in death we are all perfect.
