To know the Truth is thus to be known and transformed by the Truth. In the Epistle of John we find an extrapolation of this theme when we read that knowledge of God is evidenced in a life of love rather than in the affirmation of a theoretical, dogmatic system: Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
