We all owe Steve Blank a debt for the work he did developing the theory of customer development at a time when it was considered heretical in startup and VC circles. As I mentioned in the Introduction, Steve was an early investor in and adviser to IMVU. For the past seven years, he has been an adviser, mentor, and collaborator to me personally.
