There is a warning issued repeatedly in the scriptures, about boasting not in one’s own accomplishments but boasting only in the knowledge and glorification of God. That word, glory, can seem vague in certain biblical contexts. But typically, derived from the Hebrew kavod, it implies weight, importance, heaviness—something of substantial value.
