“What do the stars say to you?” And I knew. I finally knew what they were saying. I didn’t know where it had come from. My subconscious maybe? It was as if the stars were above me but also inside me, speaking to me. I said out loud this time, “You’re perfect just the way you are.” I could have said it a thousand times, it felt so good, the relief of finally knowing I could slow down and quit trying to prove to myself and others that I mattered.
