Should this not have been a concern for you before the kids wanted to make it pretty? You’re clearly aware that the attic is a filthy place for your kids to be living in so why only now that you’ve decided that this might be a good activity for them to dom should this not have been an activity you encouraged sooner given the fact that you knew your kids were going to be living here longterm because you had never any intention of telling your father about them. I think I’m getting as annoyed as Cathy because its glaringly obvious her mum is not going to school, not doing anything to get these kids out of the attic, I’m about to throw hands
