I love her. She knows who the Beach Boys are. I’m torn between bending her over and fucking her until she calls me Daddy or killing the piece of shit who’s still touching my girl.
“You can’t stay away from something that belongs to you. Little Snow doesn’t know it yet, but she’s claimed.”
That’s always been our thing—I drift into the past, and Lorne pulls me back to the now.
I’m attracted to women, but they trigger me. Women send me back to a place of darkness that I’m constantly trying to outrun.
Lorne’s smile is twisted. This is when he lets the mask drop and shows us the darkness he holds deep within. “What’s better, Declan, praying to God or fucking like the devil?”
“She’s beautiful, Lorne. She looks like an angel, and all I wanna do is violate her.”
His emerald eyes lock with mine and he smiles. Spit froths at his lips and trickles down the sides of his mouth. “If loving you will banish me to hell, I’d burn for all eternity.”
Sometimes you have to remain silent in your words to stay strong in your convictions.
Again, I’m taken aback at how sweet and deranged these guys are.
“We’ve all got scars, Snow. Some of us wear them on our skin, while others carry them on the inside. They are what forge us into who we are.
“If sky daddy didn’t want me to get the vice, maybe he shouldn’t have created it.”
I will revel in the knowledge that I’m the only one who creates my utopia or brings about my hell.
That’s the thing about kindness. People view it as a weakness, when it’s anything but. There’s a strength in being decent, caring for others, and showing compassion. It takes strength to be merciful when all you’ve witnessed is treachery.
