Why not both though. Why not strive for some things that are wholdsome and pure, but just not letting it consume you? And not banking on what you're striving for? "I want to do some things but if they don't happen then they don't happen." would that mentAlity work? The goals aren't swallowing someone in that sense. I get fidgety when I'm doing nothing. I have to work on something bigger. Or do something bigger.
