The Book of Enoch tells of the sun traversing the heavens through a number of gates. The passage through the various gates represented segments of a day. The Enochian day is not divided into 24 hours but into 18 segments of one and one-third hours each. Thus, each segment lasted 80 minutes. More detailed information on the calendar will be presented at the end of this book, when we discuss its application to the Prophecy of Daniel.
