suffering is caused by attachment to the process of living and to other people. The cravings of life can never be fully satisfied. This attachment results in frustration and negative action that generate karma. Life creates karma which makes the necessity for further lifetimes, as karma is both made and cleared while in the body. Attachment and craving can be released and karma healed so that the soul no longer needs to return to be embodied.
