Nature leaves the initial process of acquiring emotional custom on–going for the first 25–or–so years of human life. It is not unusual to see a seventeen-year-old behaving as if s/he were a five-year-old. The seventeen-year-old is still in a stage of neural development where testing behaviors and logging information related to experience is still an active process.
