I’ll just say the next book is called Blood King, and after you read War Queen you can probably guess whose book it is. I’m doing my best to finish it this year.

I also have more plans for this world, although realistically I probably won’t have anything to show until 2025. I work full time in addition to writing, and also have three kids, so developing a story is a slow process for me.

I try to focus on one story at a time, but I'm not doing a very good job at that right now, and so I also have a second project I’m trying to wrap up this year. It’s completely different from Crowns—it’s an urban fantasy? Paranormal? Supernatural? Something along those lines. Elements of genres overlap so sometimes it can be hard to categorize. This book is about 75% done, and I’m excited to share more once I get a little closer.(less)
