Mohammad Heydari (Persian/Farsi: محمد حیدری; born 14 August 1992, Tehran, Iran) is a scientist and author specializing in Management Science and Engineering (MS&E). He earned his PhD and Doctor of Science (DSc) in MS&E from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, completing a dissertation titled “Cognitive Basis, Perceived Corruption, and Attitudes Towards Entrepreneurial Intention” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zhou Xiaohu. He also holds an MBA and a BBA from Payame Noor University.
Dr. Heydari has developed a substantial and internationally recognized body of scholarly work across peer reviewed journals, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and policy submissions. His books and research outputs are cataloged in major international libraries such as the U.S. Library of Congress and the British Library, and his work is indexed in the American Psychological Association’s PsycInfo database. His Google Scholar profile reflects a strong citation record and significant global engagement with his research.
His contributions to MS&E have earned him national and international recognition. He has been appointed a National Foreign Young Expert and Associate Professor under the Foreign Youth Talent Program (Grant No. QN20240101), serving as Principal Investigator on a national research project. He holds a tenured academic position at the School of Applied Business, Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand. His editorial appointments reflect his commitment to advancing scholarship, strengthening peer review standards, and supporting the global research community.
His research has appeared in leading international journals and publishing outlets, including the Annals of Operations Research, Developmental Studies, Applied Energy, Operational Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Routledge/CRC Press. His work has been supported by major funding bodies, including the Graham Munro Charitable Foundation, Wilfrid Laurier University, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National High-End Foreign Expert Grants, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities of China.
Dr. Heydari’s research has also achieved global policy impact. His work on public health risk evaluation has been recognized by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and is featured on the WHO website.
