Although Calvin and Hobbes has a high rating, box sets are not permitted on this list (see blurb).

Box sets are more likely to be bought by fans who know they like the series and so tend to have artificially high ratings. However, I know other Calvin and Hobbes books do score over 4.5.

Please can you remove your vote for the box set and add the individual books instead to ensure the list remains consistent?

yeah - that makes sense. Thanks for caring: Eventually, I think this list will be a great resource.

On the other hand, I'm happy that there's a list for books with an average over 4.4, too: Over the last couple of months, a number of books that had REALLY high ratings found more mainstream success... but dropped in their ratings:

Kathryn Stockett's "The Help" has been dropping for months now... and I suspect that eventually "Daytripper", by Fabio Moon, will also have to be removed. :-(
