"I hate this book with a passion. Not only is it awful, and makes me unable to suspend disbelief. Arthur Miller based the main character on himself, and this book is basically another form of him ranting about how hard done by he was being accused of being a communist and how wonderful he was because he didnt blame anybody else. Its a bit egocentric and I never eer want to be forced to read it again."

"This book was successful yes, but most people read it because of the hype, and since then things have moved on. I dislike this book because well it was just bad, I cringed at it whilst reading, admittedly whilst reading it I was entralled and wanted to keep reading but it never came to anything, it was just a massive build up and then nothing. the whole series was like it. Now after the last film has come out I give it a couple of years and most people will have forgotten it. All the people who I know who raved about it when they first read it are now more in the feeling of meh, and I just can't wait until its over."
