"It was incredibly insightful of the times in the south. These are the days our "help" being a huge part of our family! It was awesome at the time...until we realized how horrendous it was. Before, we never gave it a thought as to what they were thinking (about theirselves and, and even worse, about us). I'm sure we were horrible and this book brings to light all the ridiculousness of those times yet still shows the "family ties" with the "help"! It was awesome! HAS to be listened to in audio version!!!!"
