Green Thumb: A Novella

"The ending was rushed or abrupt, or *something*.

Things happened and then there were consequences, and while the consequences were fascinating and beautifully orchestrated, the catalyst for the end bits felt unreal, like it was a big ole fake out moment, a dream a character was having or something, because the events just happened and we didn't get to dwell or contemplate it.

Other than the ending not being perfect for me, the 97% rest of this book was truly brilliant. It was unlike anything I have ever read and it was so magical. This book is an example of how to build a fantasy world that feels real and lived in and familiar, even though it is not anything you have ever experienced.

I loved it so, so, so much that I hope there will be more stories told is this world.

Absolutely awesome :)

TW: This book does have lots of rape. Rape that feels too casual at times, but that is the way this dystopian society functions, so it makes sense. Still, LOTS of rape"
