Did you add this becuase of the "Jane Eyre Challenge"?

Haha, no! That challenge has been cracking me up. But I attempted to read this book at least three times and can't even get to the fortieth page. My mom, who loves the book, constantly gives me a hard time about it!

Ha! That's how my brother is to me about "Heart of Darkness", but I just cannot get ihto the African river voyage as symbolism for whatever.......

I put it on my list after reading various other novels about the Congo. . .I'll let you know if I can get through it!

I think there is going to be a modern movie version soon... Do you like Austen?

I do like Austen, I just don't get Eyre! (It's probably a mental block!)
