But Greenspan pretty clearly articulates the belief that financial firms will protect themselves and not expose them to unnecessary counterparty risk, which was pretty well debunked by more than a handful of them. Hopefully people see that he was absolutely wrong, and see the value in some of the suggestions by the NYU Stern authors of Restoring Financial Stability"
