"Neurologist Oliver Sacks died in 2015, coincidentally almost the same time his autobiography came out (C. 2015). Best known for books with case studies about the human brain, like, The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, he was a healer concerned with “the suffering, afflicted, fighting human subject”, but his autobiography is WILD! Weightlifter at Venice Beach?! (Sacks is a Brit) Motorcycle enthusiast (long distance rides, Canada, U.S. Southwest to Mexico, Yosemite Park), drug user, and I can't even reveal one of the other shockers. I just never, NEVER expected the neurologist I thought I knew from his Science books to write THIS autobiography. Man, I loved it; I think this book is changing my life.
