"I began reading the Redwall series at around the same time I started reading the Pern novels by Anne McCaffery. Before the novels were sold out from Red Fox to Penguin (I think it was) they lost all joy to me. Whether it was a mental connection to the old covers which formed a red wall along my bookshelf or whether his actual style changed, is something that I will never know unless I reread the series again."
