"I was drawn into the book and couldn't put it down. Taylor gets pulled into her cousin's crazy adventures but I love Farra who is brave, adventurous, and straight up nosy"

"Wow! Great start to a new series. I love the characters, they're very fun. But I love the underlying theme to this book too - that people can be redeemed, if you have the love and patience to teach them. Honor's books always seem to have a good moral to them, and this book isn't an exception to that."

"The characters are fun as always, but they're more real, and the world is so elaborately written that you feel it's real too. She doesn't do any of the fantasy cliché's either where magic solves all the problems--it's the characters that have to solve the problems. I just really enjoyed this book and I'm SO excited it's the start of a new series. Judging from that teaser at the end, the second book in Artifactor will be as good as the first!"

"As the first segment of the Advent Mage Cycle by Honor Raconteur, Jaunten is a highly entertaining read. Though it is included in the young adult genre, it’s a book that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. It’s an excellent introduction to the series and to the story of Garth."
