I'm curious as to how many Bukowski readers are female. I know, being based only on goodreads users, it wouldn't be entirely accurate. It could also be a bad idea and maybe limit what other books/authors people read. lol

Also, I enjoyed your drablr account. I signed up and hope to start using it myself but so far I haven't been able to limit my 'drabbles' to 100 words... I'll get to drabbling, some day.

I used to assume that Bukowski would not fare well with female readers but nowadays I think quite the contrary. Look through the list of Bukowski's fans here on GR and you'll see a huge number of female admirers for his work. As you mentioned though Sherry, perhaps we can't base a writer's overall popularity just on their popularity here on this site!
