Ralph Rotten There is a brand new End of World book on the market that is really great. Calizona has been seeing rave reviews on amazon. wih a great storyline and a diverse cast or characters,Calizona is an e-book worth reading.

This is taken from the Calizona web site:

Best friends since kindergarten, survivalists Alex and Mickey take prepping to a new level when they win the biggest lottery in history. Sparing no expense, they build the ultimate subterranean bunker complex. With dreams of surviving the apocalypse in comfort and luxury, they stockpile their fortress with plenty of weed, women, and song. No expense is spared, no scenario is overlooked.
But when a meteorite erases Mexico and covers Arizona with a massive debris field, Alex and Mickey soon discover that being kings of the apocalypse is not nearly as much fun as they had envisioned, and certainly a lot more work than they had signed up for.
Calizona is humorously crafted as a historical mocumentary told a hundred years after the rebirth of civilization. Images of this bleak world are revealed through personal journals, video logs, surveillance footage, and a little editorial assistance from the lead archeologist who has transcribed the tale. At 255,000 words, this is an immersive world, engineered to appeal to a variety of adult readers who have grown up in a world of reality TV.

About the Author
Ralph Rotten is a tool. You would have a hard time finding anyone who would tell you any different. Like most serious survivalists, he lacks finesse in human interactions (to put it lightly). But from a technical perspective, Ralph Rotten clearly has the chops to author a post-apocalyptic novel of this gravity. Obsessive-compulsive by nature, he has meticulously crafted every detail of Calizona into a living, breathing world based on real-world science.
"Who the hell says the end of the world can't be fun?" Says Ralph. "When I created Calizona I wanted a different type of EOW story. Instead of heroes who are thrown into the abyss unprepared, I wanted a story about what would happen if people had their shit together going into an event. I was sooo tired of seeing how idiots and amateurs would do it. We have seen that story over and over again. I wanted to see how professionals would do it. Could they avoid the usual pitfalls? The answer is that they simply move to a new level of problems to contend with. While it may be good to be the King, it is a shitpile of work running the kingdom."
