"Despite the fact that I never thought I'd particuarly like a book about pigeons, Blechman's witty and compelling writing makes this a winner. It's a deliciously informative and fun read, in my opinion. Also, I liked it enough to read another of Blechman's books, about the highly unrelated topic of retirement villages -- I liked that one, too. I'll look for more.
