Alicia Willis What do you think of Willmington's?

message 2: by Joshua (new)

Joshua It's great! But it's more of a Bible handbook than a commentary. It contains some commentary but it's still considered more of a handbook because of the content. (The content includes articles like, People of the OT and NT, Character bios, introductions to the books of the Bible, etc....

Alicia Willis Oh, I see. Most theologians I've spoken with consider it a commentary, but I can see how there would be two views on the subject. I'm not sure what I view it as. :)

Joshua Yeah, it can be considered one. But when I compare it to other Bible commentaries, it come across as more of a handbook to me. :) Regardless, it's still just as if not more helpful, for Bible study!
