"Primed is my debut novel, a brilliant and original science fiction thriller. The underlying science is rigourously researched, and while certain assumptions have had to be made regarding as yet unmade scientific determinations, every attempt has been made to stay true to contemporary scientific knowledge. My own background is in environmental science, specialising in physics and energy with a keen interest in astronomy: my university dissertation was on ecopoiesis (aka terraforming) on Mars, utilising terrestrial desert reclamation techniques and novel techniques of my own devising. I'm also an inventor and designer of protective clothing and passive energy structures."
