Robin Is it possible to identify a best? They all meld into one in my mind once I've read the next one.

Adrienne Yes! The Copper Beech is the best one. I liked it so much, I was even able to talk Tom into reading it.

Robin I really enjoyed Minding Frankie, but maybe because it was the last one I read. These are kind of like Dick Francis books (to me); I look at each one and have no idea if I've read them or not - though likely I did.

Adrienne I liked Minding Frankie too & I really liked Heart & Soul. To me, she is a cut above all chick lit writers and most genre writers, but maybe that is just because I grow so extremely fond of her characters. Also, her books have a cumulative effect on me--The more of them I read, the more I liked them. Probably because her writing just became so familiar & cozy to me. I just find her so soothing & engaging. There are a few of her early books that I haven't read yet, so I am saving them for a time when I feel stressed out.

Robin I'll have to sit down at the bookstore and read through the first chapter or so of the books she's written, to make a list of what I have read. I agree, they are soothing.
