"I read this book when I was in hs. It was that experience that everyone has, it was the book that changed everything for me. It was written so well, captivating, magical, romantic....and I was falling in love for the first time so it was the first love story to hit home. (sadly no the boy was not a vampire or could read minds) but I could relate with how Bella felt. It was the first book I read that took a normal world and turned it upside into a world I would sadly never know. And I would like to point out I read Twilight when vampires were not the new story line in every freaking book. If I would have read it for the first time at this point in my life I probably would think: oh yay another story about guess what?? freaking vampires...go figure didn't see that coming *sits book back on shelf and walks away*. I'm glad I was lucky enough to read this book at a young age and before the story line was like 1,000 other YA books. If some-how you idk been living under a rock, or never picked up a book before, and/or somehow are not tired of vampire story lines then please read Twilight let it be your first vampire experience, before it gets ruined by some awful knock off.
